Seeing Stars

Time for another challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges, and this time we want you to go all starry eyed..... please use stars somewhere on your card or project.

I chose the adorable Superstar, available as a digi, I printed it out and coloured with promarkers, followed with a touch up using pencils. I paper pieced the star itself.
Both yellow spotty papers are by Dovecraft (back to basics), the plain pale blue cardstock was given a design and texture using an argyle embossing folder.

You can see more fantastic cards made by the other Little Misses by visiting the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog.

Following info taken from LMM blog...

Rudolph Day June 2013

Today is the 25th so that means it's Rudolph Day over at Auntys forum, and this time it's my turn to set the challenge.
I decided on.... TAG, You're it!
To make a tag on its own, or to add to a card base as long as the tag is the main attraction.

Here's mine...

It's been a while since I used this hanglar and stanglar stamp, and it is a real beauty, so decided she would look lovely on a gift tag. I coloured her with promarkers, deciding to test out my reds again because I find red the hardest to colour and add a little shade. Think it looks ok, not brilliant, but passable.

I'd like to enter this tag at:
I love Promarkers - anything goes
The Paper Shelter - anything but a card
Stampin for the weekend - anything goes
Creative Card Crew - no designer paper
Crafty Sentiments Designs - girl power

Thanks for looking xx

Thank you! xx

Carnival Time!

Ooooooh you're going to be spoilt for choice again, or maybe you'll just want them all (and why not?)
You'll know exactly what i'm talking about when you see the new rubber release over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps
Paula from Pollycraft has designed some fun new images for LMM that have a carnival theme, they are just perfect for all your summer time cards, well, for your any time cards really.
Here's my card...

The backing paper used here is from My Mind's Eye (complete boy) which I wrapped some fringed ribbon around before sticking it to the base card. The sentiment is from Create with TLC.

To see more of today's new release, please go and see what the other Little Misses have been up to.
And there's still time to enter our current challenge of 'Happy Families' too ;)

Challenges i'd like to enter:
Cards for Men - boys will be boys
Kaboodle - summer
I love Promarkers - anything goes
Creative Inspirations - New baby or for a child

Sunday Spotlight

Today sees the first Sunday Spotlight at Little Miss Muffet where you'll get to see cards or projects using a specific image available in store.

Cupcake Surprise is great because you can actually use it in three ways, the cupcake on its own, or with a cherry on top, or with the girl to burst out of the creamy goodness. I chose the latter ;)

I coloured using my regular promarkers, before cutting out and mounting onto a scalloped circle.
The papers used are old ones that I bought years ago, they are by Stampin Up and are from the collection Sweet Always. I'm not sure that they are available to buy any more, but I'm guessing they are long retired.
I added some faux stitching, crystal gems and a pretty fuchsia organza bow to complete the card. I haven't decided on a greeting yet, I may just add the name of whoever will receive it with die cut letters.

I'd like to enter this card at:
Cards Galore - sketch
Crafting when we can -  mad about markers
Oldie but a Goodie - stitching
The Paper Shelter - pink and white
Card Crafters Circle - in stitches
Crafty Catz - let's go pink
ABC challenge - P for pretty in pink

Happy Families

Today at Little Miss Muffet challenges we have a new challenge for you, Happy Families. We want you to make a card or project that is either family themed, or uses two or more images.
Here's my card for this time around...

Like everyone else, I love the new Polka Dot Pals release and here i've used Leilani & Lydie
I chose to keep them as they are, although Barbara designed these so that you could really let your imagination go and create your own facial features on these lovelies if you would like to.
You can see the whole new range along with all the other new releases HERE.
The images were coloured with promarkers and the papers i've used are by First edition (Hideaway).

You can see the fantastic cards made by the other Little Misses by visiting the Little Miss Muffet challenge blog. You can use any image you'd like to enter the challenge once, but if you use a LMM or pollycraft image the theme is anything goes and you can enter as many times as you'd like :)

I'd like to enter this card at:
ABC challenges - o for open (anything goes)
Crafty Bloggers Network - bright and breezy
ALBC challenge - something sweet (I went with images)
Stampin for the weekend - cute
Crafting when we can - mad about markers

thanks for dropping by today xx

New release day at LMM

That's right, today sees a fantastic new release over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and I just know that this release will be a HUGE hit! the Little Misses have already fell in love with them.
There's beautiful mermaids, an adorable Polka Dot Pals range, and the oh so cute Jr Hatters, one of which I have used for my card today. This is Jr Hatter Kathrina...

I decided to go with a brown and teal colour theme for this card, the pretty papers are by First Edition and called 'summer breeze'. I coloured Kathrina to match using promarkers, then die cut her out before framing onto more brown, then white cardstock.
The borders, flowers and leaves were made using punches. The sentiment is by Inkadinkado.
I shall send this card to my friend's daughter who celebrates her birthday next week.

To see more of today's new release, please go see what the other Little Misses have created to inspire you, there's some real beauties I promise you.

Oh, and please don't forget to take part in our current challenge, which is a sketch, or anything goes if you use a LMM or Pollycraft image. The challenge runs through until Tuesday 11th. You could win yourself adorable LMM digital images and be our next guest designer if you want to too. Fab eh? ;)
