I was asked to make a bright and cheerful birthday card, and as I haven't used this image for a while (and I loved the layout I used before too), I chose to case a previous card that I made a couple of years ago...
This image is called Sweet Horse, and is by 2 Cute Ink, coloured with Promarkers.
The pretty papers are by Doodlebug (Hello Sunshine)
Other supplies used:
Stampin Up eyelet border punch; Dienamics By The Letter dies; daisy punches; & ash leaf punch.
I'm entering this card at:
QKR Stampede - anything goes
Craft Rocket challenges - animal kingdom
Thank you for looking. xx

Sweet Horse
** If you are looking for my stop on this month's blog hop with From The Heart Stamps, please scroll down, thanks! **
Here's a card I've made for a 30th Birthday...
This beautiful image is Sweet Horse by 2 Cute Ink.
I've used 2 patterned papers here, both are by Echo Park. The floral piece is from a collection called Beautiful Life, and the text design is from the Playground collection.
The pretty little scalloped edges were die cut using a Nellie Snellen die (daisy).
I've added flowers and the name and age using Die-namics dies, the leaves are a Woodware punch.
The name and number have had a little touch of clear Wink of Stella glitter, though it's hard to see in the photo.
I'd like to enter this card at:
2 Cute Ink challenges - anything goes
Simon Monday Challenge - anything goes
Creative Inspirations - cute critters
Thanks for stopping by today, hope you are enjoying a fab weekend! xx

Sunflower{less} Girl
I think this image is adorable...
This is Sunflower Girl by 2 Cute Ink, and coloured with promarkers. The frame behind her is a Marianne die (Petra's Ornaments)
Now, I fussy cut around the girl because I originally didn't want the sunflower. However, it was only AFTER I put the card together and decided I wanted to add flowers after all, and glued down the die cut flowers, that I realised that I'd put one of them in that same place as the sunflower in the image! I should have just coloured in the sunflower to match the die-cut ones eh? lol
The spotty paper is from the 'Little Girl' paper pack by Echo Park. The paper i've used for the flowers and the star behind the number 20 are scraps that happened to be the perfect matching colour, they were from a freebie paper pack with a craft magazine.
I've used some Hunkydory scrabble letter card tiles, and printed the bottom sentiment off my computer. SISTER & 20 were cut using die-namics dies (By The Letter/Number).
I'm entering this card at:
Sketch Saturday - Lizy's sketch
My Mums Craft Shop - Dies or Punches
2 Cute Ink - Anything goes
That's Crafty - Girl Power!
Stamp & Create - circles or dots
Thanks for looking :) xx

A couple of girly makes...
I have made a couple of girly cards. This first one uses a pretty image from DigiStamp Boutique...
This is Florence and present, isn't she a cutie?
The 2 floral papers are from the collection 'Bonnets & Bowties' by Lili of the Valley & Nitwit.
The sentiment is taken from the middle of a cake stamp by Stampin Up ('bring on the cake' stamp set).
The embossing folder used here is Swiss Dots.
I added a flower using Die-namics flower and leaf trio die, and finished off with some flat back crystals.
I'd like to enter this card at:
DigiStamp Boutique - July customer competition
Penny's Paper Crafty - anything goes
Inky Impressions - anything goes
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes
The Pink Elephant - anything goes
On to my other card. This one uses an image from 2 Cute Ink...
This is Sweet Horse, oh and she definately is a sweetie, don't you agree?
I printed her a few times, coloured and fussy cut, and then decoupaged so that she'd be more 3D.
I've used that Nitwit/LOTV paper pad again for this card too.
After sticking down the floral paper I die-cut a heart from the front of the card using the largest plain heart from Marianne's scalloped heart set. Then die-cut the scalloped heart so that I could frame the aperture.
The horse was then glued to the inside back of the card so that she would poke through the heart.
The flowers were all made using SU's boho blossoms punch.
The name was cut using Die-namics By The Letter dies, and the greeting was handwritten.
I'm entering this card at:
2 Cute Ink challenge - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - anything goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - anything goes
Crafty Catz - anything goes
Milk Coffee challenge - 2 or more die-cuts
UPDATE 04/08/14: This card is a challenge winner at 2 Cute Ink! Thank you! xx
