WW fan
Last month was my future son-in-law's birthday, we gave him the following card. I thought i'd forgotten to take a photo of it before giving it to him, but turns out I did! it was on my other memory card. The memory card that I use when I forget to bring the other memory card back upstairs to my craft room.
I used an image from FTH's Football Fanatics collection.
I gave this Birdbrain a football shirt, Rich's team is Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Now, i'm not a WW fan, i'm not a big football fan anyway, but if I had to choose a team, i'd choose West Bromwich Albion. Which could be a bit of a problem when my grandchild is born. Although I have been told that I can buy a 'I dribble for the Baggies' bib for the baby... as long as it stays at my house!! lol
The text in the banner and the sentiment beneath the image were added on the computer.
The spotty paper is by MME (Pretty Please)
The football and boots were cut using an Ellison Thin Cuts die.

Mitzi & Mabel
Good Morning :)
It's new challenge time over at Little Miss Muffet today.
This time we have an easy one for you... Anything Goes.
This cutie is Polka Dot Pals Mitzi. I added a face using one of the Add-on Faces, I used the digital version here, but you can also buy them in rubber if that's your preference.
I coloured Mitzi with promarkers, she originally started out as a strawberry blonde, but I messed up so she became a brunette to hide my mistakes. I really do need to get much better with my colouring *sigh*
The beautiful papers are Stella & Rose 'Mabel' by MME. This paper pad, and some Hattie pads, had to fly over the Atlantic to live here because I just can't find them in the UK. I do wish MME would make digital versions of their papers though, it would be fab if they did. My order should keep me happy for a while though :)
The sentiment is computer generated.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Creative Inspirations - cute characters
The other Little Misses have made some beautiful creations, please visit the challenge blog to see what they have made.
And remember there's also more inspiration on our facebook group too :)
Happy Crafting! xx

For Weezie
Happy St George's Day everyone xx
Today is my eldest's birthday.
Emma is a HUGE Disney fan, with her absolute favourite being The Little Mermaid. She watched the video over and over again when she was a little girl. Actually she still watches it again and again now, only she watches it on DVD these days.
So when I saw Monet The Mermaid from A Random Fan, I knew she had to be on Emma's card this year...
I coloured Monet with promarkers, then fussy cut her out.
The floral patterned backing paper is by MME (Quite Contrary), the chevron paper is by Echo Park (Splash).
'Daughter' was cut using Die-namics, By The Letter dies, and 'happy birthday' cut using word dies from Clearly Besotted Stamps.
Happy Birthday Emma Louise (Weezie) xx
I'd like to enter this card at:
A Random Fan - anything goes
Totally Gorjuss - die cuts / punches
That Craft Place - anything goes
Creative Inspirations - cute characters
Next, is the card that Jake gave to his sister...
This image is Fairy Dust by The Stamping Chef, lol.
Again, I coloured with promarkers, then I finished with a glitter gel pen for her wings and her... erm... 'dust'!
The patterned paper is by Bella Gypsy (Happy Calm).
'Sister' was cut using those By The Letter dies too, and the sentiment was computer generated.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Hobby Cutz Challenges - CAS
Cards Galore - include your favourite colour (mine is green)
Crafting Musketeers - monochrome
Thanks for looking.

Ladybug Liftoff
Yay! Monday means another I {heart}sketches challenge over at From The Heart Stamps.
here's this week's sketch...
The twist this week is to use the inspirational photo provided.
Join in the challenge, and everyone who plays will receive a $1 discount code for the store, and if you are the challenge winner, you will receive a $5 discount code to the store! great eh?
Remember though, you must use an image by From The Heart Stamps to be eligible, and please include a pic of the sketch in your blog post too.
Here's my GD card...
As you can see, I turned the sketch clockwise 90 degrees.
This image is Ladybug Liftoff, i've coloured it using promarkers that are similar to the colours in the inspirational photo.
The patterned paper is by Provocraft, from the 'tags, bags, boxes & more' paper pad.
I hand cut the cloud, and used the medium flower from Die-namics flower and leaf trio die, plus a small punched circle to make the sun.
I added a sentiment, this one is from Paper Smooches 'Sentiment Sampler' set.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Passion for Promarkers - all creatures great and small
Sweet Stampin - lots of layers
Allsorts - birds and feathers
ABC challenge - J for just as you like (anything goes)
You can find more inspiration by checking out what the FTH design team have made for this weeks challenge by clicking HERE.

Shania
Happy Thursday everyone :)
My card today is the card that my son will give to my daughter for her birthday. I should be safe to show it here, I don't think she's a visitor to my blog. I must remember not to put this card on facebook though, because she would definately see it on there.
This is Polka Dot Pals Shania. She is a digi stamp, available from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I've coloured her with promarkers.
The patterned paper is by Echo Park (Little Girl). I've also used the alpha stickers from the same collection.
I cut out the oval and raised the piece with foam tape so that I could frame Shania.
The flowers were made using 2 different sized daisy punches and some green crystals for the centre of each flower. The flourishes were cut using Marianne dies (Anja's Vintage Swirls).
Please visit the Little Miss Muffet Fan Group, where you can see other cards made by the Little Misses uploaded throughout the day.
And don't forget out current challenge, which has the theme, Distressed.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Fab n Funky - flower power
Casual Fridays - use ovals
Sweet Stampin - flowers (2nd entry)
Digi Galore - flowers
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day :)

Stamp Of The Month reminder.
Today, is Mid-Month reminder day at From The Heart Stamps.
Such a lovely quote, with a message of hope too.
For my card today, I decided to cut up the image into its 3 boxes and move them around...
I coloured the image using promarkers, then added a slight touch of glitter to the flowers with a clear Gelly Roll Stardust pen - which has decided to be camera shy and can't be seen in my photo!
I've used a music patterned paper here, which is actually a christmas paper, it's from Dovecraft's Back to Basics 'vintage' Christmas collection. It is probably the sheet music for a carol, but there's no words, just the notes, so I think I can get away with it lol.
I wanted to add musical paper because Spring is the time of year that you start to hear all the birds singing :)
There's still time for you to play with this fab image, there's 2 more weeks to get your entry in, and remember if you do, you'll get May's SOTM emailed to you for free! ;)
I'd like to enter this card at:
A Random Fan - Springy pastel colours
Stamp & Create - Spring flowers
Allsorts - Spring blossoms
Sweet Stampin - flowers
Digi Galore - flowers
Hope you like my card,
Thanks for looking xx
If you joined the SOTM challenge in March, you will have received Spring Medley via email. You have until the end of April to submit your entry to the challenge so that you can get next month's digi for free too.
If you don't have Spring Medley, you can
still play along by buying the image from the store.

Hula!
It's time for another fabulous I {heart}sketches challenge over at From The Heart Stamps.
here's the sketch...
The twist, if you want to use it, is.... No cards allowed.
Join in the challenge, and everyone who plays will receive a $1 discount code, and if you are the challenge winner, you will receive a $5 discount code to spend at the store.
Remember though, you must use an image by From The Heart Stamps to be eligible, and please include a pic of the sketch in your blog post too.
Here's my GD project...
Now, it was only AFTER i'd taken the photograph of this CARD, that I remembered that I was going to use this layout to decorate the top of a box, so that I could use the twist too. Oh well, never mind, the twist is optional anyways.
The image is Birdbrain Hula Chick, and i've coloured her with promarkers.
The green checked paper is by Lawn Fawn (Peace, Joy, Love). The paper with the butterflies was bought years ago, when I started card making. I can't remember the company, or the pad it came from, but it could have been either Dovecraft or DCWV, as I remember having different papers from both companies back then.
The flower embellishment was made by colouring (with promarkers) the largest flower after using the Die-namics flower and leaf trio die, then layering with a stamen (Nellie Snellen stamen punch), and finishing with card candy.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Craftitude - anything goes
That Craft Place - anything goes
MMCS challenge - anything goes

Distressing
Today sees a new challenge starting over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges.
This time we want to see some distressing please. So tear up some papers, bash up the edges, or sponge them with ink. Distressed patterned designer papers will work too.
Here's my card...
This image is Luna Bitterfrost Skulls Rock. I coloured her with promarkers, then fussy cut her out.
I haven't used any designer patterned papers at all for this card, I just used plain card stock in 4 different colours. The pale blue piece (yeah, you'd mistake it for off-white in the photo) was torn into the shapes I wanted, embossed with a paisley folder, then lightly sponged with lilac ink. I punched out 2 holes on each piece with the 3/16" side of my cropadile (the bigger punch), then glued the pieces to the mid-purple coloured card stock. Then I swapped sides on the cropadile and punched through the holes again with the 1/8" hole punch, so that it would leave a slight border. I threaded the organza ribbon through the holes, and then used foam pads to stick the whole lot to the card front.
'bff' was die cut using Die-namics, By The Letter dies.
The other Little Misses have been 'distressed' this week too, but in a good way of course, go see for yourself!
oooh and don't forget to visit our facebook group as well, there's oodles of inspiration over there too.
I'd like to enter Luna at:
Allsorts - NO flowers
MMCS challenge - anything goes
2 Cute Ink - anything goes
Catch The Bug - April anything goes

FTH sketch #61
It's time for another fabulous I {heart}sketches challenge over at From The Heart Stamps.
But first, i'd like to thank all of you who left me such lovely comments for my FTH blog hop card, and i'm sending you all good luck wishes in the prize draws :)
Back to today's challenge, here's the sketch...
The twist this week is to colour on kraft paper.
This is Chocolate Box Birdbrain. It was one of the first images that I bought from the store.
The sentiment comes with it, along with 2 other sentiments and the extra 3 chocs image too.
I printed the image on kraft and then coloured it using pencils.
The patterned papers are by Stampin Up (old olive DSP).
The horizontal bands on the sketch are represented by the brown funky foam border (using a Marianne die), and the brads/sentiment combination.
You can see more delightful inspiration by checking out what the design team have made for this weeks challenge by clicking HERE.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Allsorts - NO flowers

Crafts Galore - include your favourite colour (mine is green)

oooooh that's better...
Cats get so much enjoyment from a good stretch don't they? mind you they are asleep a lot of the time so suppose they feel the need to between naps lol
This fun image is Polka Dot Pals Feline Stretching, I coloured kitty using promarkers as a base then went over top with my pencils before fussy cutting out.
The sentiment, which is purrfect ;) could have been written with this image in mind eh? In fact, it's from TLC Creations from a while ago.
The frame was made by cutting a Lea'bilities die twice (Leane 005 Frame Curve), then gluing them back to back to make a stronger frame. I glued on a tab at the back so that the frame could stand up, then added a bit of bling for good measure as well.
The patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye, from the Quite Contrary collection, which is sadly, discontinued now :( I do wish that MME would do digital versions of their retired collections, this one, and all of the Stella & Rose collections would be top of my list.
You can see what the other Little Misses have made to inspire you over on the challenge blog or on our facebook group.
There's still a little under a week left for our current challenge too, it's Anything Goes, so there's no reason not to join in, eh? ;)
I'd like to enter this frame at:
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - anything goes
Paper Makeup - pastel colours

There's still a little under a week left for our current challenge too, it's Anything Goes, so there's no reason not to join in, eh? ;)
