Inspiration Wednesday Birdbrain

Good Morning :)
Here's my mid-week inspiration card for From The Heart Stamps.
This week i'm using one of my favourite Birdbrains, Birthday Candle Birdbrain...

I've coloured my image with promarkers, including the background, on to which I then used the blender pen to fade out the colour behind this fun, feathery dude. The candle, wax and perspiration all had a brush with a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen, though you can't see this in the photo.
The blue spotty paper is from a digital pack called 'cuckoo 4 u' by Samantha Walker.
Both the chevron and stars papers are from the same digital pack, called 'Superheroes' by Eltendedero on Etsy.
The sentiment on the front of the card is a stamp by Inkadinkado.
I've used a cArt-Us die (ornate frame) for the piece behind the image, which has been given a doodled edge with a white gel pen.

I made the card front to fit onto an easel card this week, and I have made it stand towards the front end of the base...

...which gave me room for the sentiment (one of SIXTEEN that you get for free with this image)...

I'd like to enter this card at:

FTH inspiration - mix n match

Here's my mid-week inspiration post for From The Heart Stamps.
I'm also using this weeks sketch w/a twist, as shown below...

The twist this time is to use 3 of something. I chose to use 3 different ribbons, hanging from beneath the image after gluing them to black card.
I also decided to mix n match part of an image from one set (Apple Market), with a sentiment from a different set (Kitten Surprise).
Here's my card...

I coloured the image with promarkers. The green spotty paper is from Doodlebug's Snips & Snails pad.
The paw prints were stamped using an inchie stamp from a company that unfortunately aren't in business anymore called Tanda Stamps.
As already mentioned, I've added 3 different ribbons beneath the image, they were taken from my ribbons tubs, so i'm not sure of the company as they were bought many, many moons ago, though I think they may be by DoCrafts.
The green flower is the smallest die from Die-namics Flower & Leaf Trio, with a black rhinestone at its centre.

I'd like to enter this card at:
Top Tip Tuesday - animals
Allsorts - no squares allowed
Sweet Stampin - clean & simple

The image is Hamlet PigWit Pig Out, Hamlet is such a cutie, so he's perfect for this weeks twist too.
I've coloured the image with promarkers.
The spotty paper is from Doodlebug's 'Hip Hip Hooray' paper pad.
The sentiment is by Stampin Up, from the 'Bring on the Cake' stamp set, although you do get 2 bonus sentiments when you buy this PigWit. One says "You are so stinkin' sweet!", and the other "It's your Birthday, pig out!" Sweet Horse

** If you are looking for my stop on this month's blog hop with From The Heart Stamps, please scroll down, thanks! **

Here's a card I've made for a 30th Birthday...

This beautiful image is Sweet Horse by 2 Cute Ink.
I've used 2 patterned papers here, both are by Echo Park. The floral piece is from a collection called Beautiful Life, and the text design is from the Playground collection.
The pretty little scalloped edges were die cut using a Nellie Snellen die (daisy).
I've added flowers and the name and age using Die-namics dies, the leaves are a Woodware punch.
The name and number have had a little touch of clear Wink of Stella glitter, though it's hard to see in the photo.

I'd like to enter this card at:
2 Cute Ink challenges - anything goes
Simon Monday Challenge - anything goes
Creative Inspirations - cute critters

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you are enjoying a fab weekend! xx

Laura's 24th

** If you are looking for my stop on this month's blog hop with From The Heart Stamps, please scroll down, thanks! **

Today is my younger daughter's 24th Birthday. Happy Birthday to Laura :)
Laura said that she wanted a pink, girly card this year...

One of our memories of Laura as a little girl is of her wearing her floppy denim hat, so whilst browsing through my stamps and images, I decided to use Fancy Sunbonnet Flowers, which is a bugaboo image, made in rubber for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.
I've teamed this little cutie with papers by Echo Park; Be Mine & Little Girl.
I've used my swiss dots embossing folder, an 'Elegant Ovals' frame die by Marianne Creatables, and 2 punches from Stampin Up; scalloped border, and boho blossoms, which was used along with its matching stamp set 'One of a Kind'.
The sentiment is computer generated.

And here is Laura's card which Jake gave to her...

The patterned paper used is also by Echo Park, from the Love Story collection.
I used my cropadile to cut and set the eyelets, then scored a piece of white card for the 'toe' end.
'sister' is a word die by Clearly Besotted Stamps.

Happy Birthday Flissy! xx

Thanks for stopping by today, enjoy your weekend :)
