Here's my mid-week inspiration card for From The Heart Stamps.
This week i'm using this fab image, A Little Something...
I coloured this kitty with promarkers, fussy cut it out, then glued the image to a piece of cardstock that i'd sponged with distress inks first (weathered wood & mowed lawn) and embossed with a paw print embossing folder by Darice (Michelle 'made' me buy it ;) lol)
The sentiment is one of five you will receive when you purchase this image.
Thank you for stopping by today.

Baby cards
Heres a few cards made for new arrivals...
This first card was handcut using a dl card blank, to resemble a baby's bottle...
I covered the front with patterned paper (Nitwit, country meadow), then used a crimper to make the neck part of the bottle.
'baby' was cut using a Clearly Besotted Stamps word die, and 'GIRL' cut using Die-namics dies.
I finished the card with some organza ribbon.
I will add the baby's name as a little tag off the ribbon once she is born.
I'd like to enter this card Craft Your Passion's anything goes challenge.
This next card also uses that baby word die...
This time, I teamed the word die with the precious sentiment and image also from Clearly Besotted Stamps, Little Onesie. I stamped the onesie image twice, onto both plain and polka dot paper, so that I could paper piece it.
I'd like to enter this card at Less Is More (polka dots)
And following on from the Little Onesie set, I used the 'precious' sentiment on this card too...
I also stamped the word Granddaughter using a couple of stamps from the For Everyone stamp set, also by Clearly Besotted Stamps, but sadly not available anymore.
The image is from DigiStamp Boutique, called Baby Chicklet, and is coloured with promarkers. I added a couple of sequins and some pearls too. Then framed the image using a Nellie Snellen die.
The striped paper is really old, it's a dsp from a Stampin Up collection called Sweet Always.
I finished the card with a punched heart coated with glossy accents, punched & sponged flowers and punched gold shimmer-vellum leaves.
I'd like to enter this card in DigiStamp Boutique's monthly customer competion for March, also, The Ribbon Girl's any image challenge, and finally, the spring flowers challenge over at In The Pink.
Thanks for looking xx

Digging Dog
Here's a mid-week inspiration post for From The Heart Stamps.
This week, i'm using our current sketch (#143), and our current Stamp of the Month, Digging Dog...
I've coloured this cutie with Promarkers, cut the image to shape, then die-cut the edges with a die from Paper Smooches Dots & Dashes set. I backed this piece with a piece of kraft card.
The patterned paper used here is by Nitwit (Bonnets & Bowties), I hand-cut the blue piece in the shape of a bone.
I finished the card with a scalloped piece (SU border punch), and a paw print which was stamped using an 'inchie' stamp from a retired company, Tanda Stamps.
You can find more inspiration, and enter the sketch challenge yourself by clicking HERE.
Also, you can find our current Stamp Of The Month challenge and details of how you can join this progressive challenge HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today :)

Beautiful Vintage Roses
I LOVE Vintage Roses by Altenew.
It's such a lovely set to use, producing beautiful, realistic flowers.
I was asked to make a card for a 60th birthday...
This card took a while to do as I don't have the matching dies yet, so had to cut the flowers and leaves by hand, then I sponged the edges of each piece, before deciding on my placement.
Recipe:
I used Memento Dew Drop inks.
Flowers - dandelion, canteloupe, tangelo & potters clay. Leaves - new sprout, pistachio & bamboo leaves.
Papers - LOTV (Nitwit) 'Country Meadow'.
Diecut - trellis die by Clearly Besotted Stamps, & Die-namics 'By The Number' dies.
Punch - eyelet border by Stampin Up.
Sentiment - 'Bring on the cake' stamp set by Stampin Up (stamped onto vellum and heat embossed with gold EP).
Gold glitter washi tape, flat back pearls, and clear wink of stella on roses.
I'm entering this card at:
Cardz 4 Galz - woman or women
QKR Stampede - add some sparkle
Ribbon Girl - Spring/Easter or anything goes
Whimsy Challenges - anything goes
Stamping Sensations - Flower Power
Hope you all have a great weekend xx

Happy Birthday Rich
It's my son in law's birthday today. He is a big Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, so thought i'd have a go at making a card which looks like the back of a shirt...
This card was real easy to make, the hardest part was lining up the dies (Dienamics By The Letter/Number) on the orange card stock to cut out his name and age. To add a little interest, I embossed the top and bottom with a stars folder by Darice.
I edged the sides with white card stock, then I backed this panel with funky foam so that I could raise it from the black card base.
Then finished the card with a football die-cut (Quickutz - Soccer Ball).

Dad's birthday
Today is my Dad's birthday. I've made a couple of cards, one sent from me & hubby, the other from Jake.
I wanted to use the same paper pad for both cards. I used the now retired Stella & Rose 'Hattie' from My Mind's Eye.
This first one's image uses LOTV's Put Your Feet Up...
I coloured it with promarkers, layered it onto grey cardstock, then set an eyelet for the frayed ribbon trim.
My sentiment is by inkadinkado, and DAD was cut using die-namics dies.
The collection of stars are from a Marianne Creatables die (Punch Die - Stars).
I'm entering this card at:
Sketch Saturday - sketch #402
DigiDesign Challenge - 2 or more dies
Crafts Galore Encore - make a card in March
This next card uses Snoozing Ralph image and sentiment by DigiStamp Boutique..
Again, coloured with promarkers.
'Grandad' was cut with a die by Crafts Too. I don't have grandad, so I cut Grandson twice and pieced Grand from the first, and then the a & d from the other die-cut.
I'm entering this card at:
DigiStamp Boutique - March 2016 customer competition
It's my son in law's birthday tomorrow, so i'll be back then with a pic of his card.
Have a fab day, won'cha? ;) xx

Mother's Day cards
Here are the 2 mother's day cards that were given to my mom yesterday.
The first uses my newest stamps and inks...
I've used Vintage Roses stamp set by Altenew, with Memento Dew Drop inks.
I did put a little of clear Wink of Stella on the roses, though you can't see that here.
The sentiment was stamped (badly) with an old stamp that I bought years ago. It has a floral border around it but I chose to use an SU marker to just colour the sentiment in the middle. It didn't stamp very clearly so I went over it with the same marker, then wrote Mom underneath.
I'm entering this card at:
Stamping Sensations - Flower Power
Crafty Calendar - Mum's Day/Special Female
MAWTT - Purple Haze
And here is the card that I made for my son to give to his nan for mother's day...
I've used Lili of the Valley's Posy Trio for this card, coloured with promarkers.
The text background paper was free with a craft mag some time ago.
I've used my SU eyelet border punch for some pretty edges, and Die-namics 'By The Letter' dies for nan.
Happy Mother's Day sentiment was printed off the pooter.
I'm entering this card at:
In The Pink - Special Lady
Cardz 4 Galz - woman or women
ABC - C is for Cute
Passion for Promarkers - Girls Only
Whimsy Challenges - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Mother's Day
Thanks for looking :)

CASE a teamie hop
Welcome to my stop on this month's From the Heart Stamps blog hop.
We have a “CASE it” theme this month. Each team member will be showcasing a card CASE'd (copy and share everything) from another teammate.
As you hop along, please leave a comment on each blog. One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the FTHS store.
Additionally one lucky random winner from the comments on the FTHS blog will win a $15 voucher to the FTHS store!
If you have arrived here from Imke, you are in the right place. If you haven't, why don’t you start at the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything. The full hop list is there too.
I get to CASE a card by the lovely Karen, which proved quite difficult, as I was spoilt for choice when it came to choosing just one card.
I decided in the end to choose this one, it was Karen's DT call entry, isn't it lovely? ...
You can click on the picture to be taken to Karen's direct blog post :)
I love pink and grey together, and the layout is absolutely fab.
So, here is my take on it...
Supplies:
Image: Flappy Birthday Birdbrain.
Colouring medium: Promarkers.
Sentiment: Tlc Creations
Papers: Pink Gingham (Dovecraft), pink distressed (Nitwit), grey patterned (Doodlebug)
Other supplies: Stampin Up eyelet border punch, ric-rac, sequins, clear wink of stella on balloon.
Now, please head over to Karen's fabulous blog to see whose card she has CASE'd.
I hope that you enjoy hopping with us today.
The hop will end on Monday, March 7th at 6am EST (11am UK time).
Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday, March 9th.
Good luck, and happy hopping! xx

Mid-week inspiration
Hello! it's time for a little mid-week inspiration for From The Heart Stamps.
My card for today uses the sketch from this weeks I {heart} sketches challenge...
Join in the challenge, and everyone who plays will receive a $1 discount
code for the store, and if you are the challenge winner, you will
receive a $5 discount code to the store! :)
Remember though, you must use an image by From The Heart Stamps to be eligible, and please include a pic of the sketch in your blog post too, it's in the rules!
Here's my card...
I've used Kitten Surprise, coloured with promarkers, then fussy-cut out.
The main papers are both by My Mind's Eye, from their 'Life of the Party' pad.
The die-cut flowers (Die-namics) were also cut from a pad called Life of the Party, except it's from Basic Grey and not MME.
The sentiment is from Graceful Sentiments, a really beautiful sentiment set.
I finished the card with flat-back pearls and sequins.
I hope you'll join us this week, and remember there's a new blog hop this Friday, so be sure to join us then if you can. :)
