Dexter in Love
Happy Boxing Day!
I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday, and I hope it continues today and throughout the holidays :)
Me? i'm in work today from 9.30am until around 6 - 6.30pm this evening. So achy back and feet later me thinks, will have to soothe them with a Baileys or 2 when I get home tonight ;)
The Little Misses have more inspirational work to share with you today, here is my card, which was the card given to my parents from my son...
This adorable image is Dexter in Love, and is from the recent new release, cute eh?
The sentiment is from DigiStamp Boutigue, and nan & grandad were cut using my Die-namics By the Letter dies. The patterned papers used are by Dovecraft from the Merry Magic collection.
All that it needed to finish were 2 SU eyelet border punch borders and some punched hearts.
Have a great day! xx

OWL I want for Christmas is you
Merry Christmas everyone!
Hope you've had some lovely gifts delivered by the big man in red ;)
This fabulous image is called Winter Owls from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and I think it SO deserves to be the star of the show of this card, it's an amazing image don't you agree?
This was so much fun to colour up with my promarkers, to start with though, I sponged in the sky and then added white flock to the snow after i'd finished colouring.
All that was need to finish was the sentiment which is computer generated.
Do you want to treat yourself to some new images? and the chance to get an exclusive FREE image too, then remember, LMM's holiday special is available right up until the 31st December ;)

Neva
There's no challenge this week from Little Miss Muffet,
instead, the Little Misses will be sharing some inspirational cards with you.
You may recognise this little cutie from our Challenge Blog and Facebook group. Neva is an exclusive Polka Dot Pals image that Barbara will send to you for free if you place an order over $10, isn't she lovely? thanks Barbara, a HUGE Merry Chistmas to you and your family xx
Here's what i've done with Neva...
I printed and coloured her a few times so that I could layer her up a little.
She is sitting on a belly band that goes around this serviette fold card that I have made using a tutorial I saw at Beccy's Place (thanks Beccy!)
The papers used are all 'Merry Magic' by Dovecraft, and the frame that Neva is sitting on is by cArt-Us.
I put some money inside my card, before sliding over the belly band, then because I wanted this card to hang on the tree, I added ribbon to one corner...
A different way to give money (or a gift card) this Christmas.
Challenges entered:
ABC challenge - B for blue, bows and bling
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Extra - anything goes
Papertake Weekly - last christmas
Crafting By Designs - challenge 1 : wrap it up
Crafty Creations - anything goes
Inky Impressions - merry christmas
Simon Says Stamp - bling it on
Would you like to colour up this little beauty too? Click on the logo below and Neva can be yours with orders over $10
Thanks for stopping by today.......oooooh only 6 more sleeps to go..... ;)

An assembly line
My husband needed 10 christmas cards asap!
So I printed out some Cute Santa images from DigiStamp Boutique (there's also a recent facebook freebie in there too), then I got my craft on, and so, a little over an hour later, I emerge with these...
To speed things up, I had to keep to a simple design, but then I think that the simple design showcases the images really well.
They were coloured simply with promarkers, and layered using a kraft shimmer paper and patterned papers from Dovecraft's back to basics vintage christmas paper stack.
The sentiments were computer generated and then punched out using my word window punch from Stampin Up.
I got an assembly line going, which is such a quick way to make cards. I did all the colouring first, then cut and layered my papers, punched out my greetings, and then finally, I glued everything into place one step at a time. Job done. Except now he wants ME to write them out because my handwriting is neater than his! well ok, but HE can lick the envelopes ;)
I'd like to enter these cards at:
DigiStamp Boutique - December challenge
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Extra - anything goes
Crafty Catz - anything goes
Sweet Stampin - last minute christmas
Hope you have a great day xx

Edwin and Hetty
A friend at work is getting married on the 28th December, and asked if i'd make a card for his fiancee, but wanted 'wife to be' on it as their wedding is so close.
Brief : she loves elephants!
I needed help in finding the right image, thankfully Lisa (thanks Lisa!) knew where i'd find such an image, so off I went to buy Christmas Edwin & Hetty set from DigiStamp Boutique. Perfect image me thinks.
Now last week I ordered myself some new grey promarkers, well they still haven't arrived *stamps foot* even though I should have received them by Wednesday. Not a happy bunny, RM should realise I have elephants to colour!
*sigh* so I had no option but to use the dregs of ink left in the promarkers I do have.
I've framed the image and sentiment with silver mirror card although it looks black in this photo.
The patterned paper is by Dovecraft (merry magic).
The mistletoe dies are by Marianne Creatables.
The sentiment is also from DSB, Christmas Greetings set 3.
'wife to be' has been die cut, using die-namics By the Letter dies.
I'd like to enter this card at:

Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Extra - anything goes
Passion for Promarkers - include a sentiment

'Dex' the halls with boughs of holly...
...Fa la la la laa...lala la laaa.
Are you all ready for Christmas? or are you a last minute Christmas shopper?
Well let's show you something to add to your Christmas wish list, or indeed something you may want to buy yourself as a little treat, well, you have been working very hard with your festive preparations that you deserve it don't you? ;)
There's a new release from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, that i'm sure you'll want to get your crafty hands on...
I just had to colour up this cutie straight away, this is Dexter Caroling.
I know, he's so adorable isn't he?
He's a Pollycraft image, which are now available from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.
I've coloured Dexter with Promarkers.
The paper is from Carta Bella's 'Winter Fun' pack.
I used my Cart-Us frame dies behind the image, the white piece of this has been embossed with a snowflake folder.
The flowers were made from gold vellum using my SU boho blossoms punch.
I'd like to enter this card at:
That Craft Place - christmas
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Extra - anything goes
My Mums Craft Shop - Winter/Christmas
Passion for Promarkers - include a sentiment
But there's more... I couldn't resist colouring up another Dexter to show you today.
This is Dexter Lantern...
He looks so cool in his antler hat don't you think?
The papers are by Dovecraft (back to basics vintage christmas).
The leaves are punched from gold paper, I hope it's ok to extend them further up the side than the sketch given by Sketch Saturday.
'son' was die cut using my By the Letters dies, and I found a gold greeting in my stash which fit perfectly at the bottom.
I'm entering this card at:
Sketch Saturday - sketch
Here Come The Boys - anything goes
Papertake Weekly - christmas creatures
Before you go shopping to grab your favourites from this fab release, please stop by the LMM blog to see what gorgeousness the other little misses have created.
Happy shopping/crafting ;)

You've Been Framed!
Oooooh, There's a challenge and a release today over at Little Miss Muffet :)
Our challenge is to use a frame somewhere on your project, or to frame something in someway, you can even alter a picture frame if you want to! To be in with a chance of winning some LMM images for yourself, please use any image from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, but of course if you want to join in just for fun instead, then that would be great too, we love to see your take on our challenges.
This image is Polka Dot Pals Chrissie, i've added one of the ready faces and framed her using the shoelace border which has been released today to coincide with our challenge.
After colouring everything with promarkers, I punched out a circle from some scrap paper and placed the 'hole' over the lantern so that I could sponge over top with yellow ink to create the candle glow.
I kept the design simple with a kraft card blank and paper by Basic Grey (life of the party).
'sister' was die cut using Die-namics By The Letter dies.
I'd like to enter this card at:
My Mums Craft Shop - Winter/Christmas
Kaboodle Doodles - Winter theme
The Pink Elephant - Winter
Crafty Cardmakers - Clean and Simple
Top Tip Tuesday - Be Krafty
Shopping Our Stash - Holiday or Winter
Stamp and Create - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's - light it up

Meowy Christmas
The image is taken from Happy Meow Year from The Paper Shelter. I was lucky enough to have won a whopping $20 prize earlier in the year, and this set was one that I chose, I'm using one of the cats from this set for my Sister's christmas card from my son.
My grey promarkers seriously need replacing, they are very dry, but on this occasion it helped with the fur a little bit!
The papers are both by Dovecraft, Back to Basics Modern Christmas, and Merry Magic.
The greeting is a Stamps Away stamp, and 'auntie' has been cut using my Die-namics By The Letter dies.
I'd like to enter this card at:

Feliz Navidad
It's Super Saturday! so that means a specially priced spotlight image and a freebie.
ah, but Barbara, being the generous person she is, wants to offer you more :)
Introducing the first of the new $1 digi images!
Yep, you can buy this image for a limited time, for just $1 from Little Miss Muffet Stamps...
It's called Cactus Christmas Tree, and you can get yours HERE.
I coloured it with promarkers and then cut it out with a cart-us die. except that after cutting around the star and using the die, the star got a little bit damaged so I added a gold punched star over top of the original one.
The background paper is Lime Twist - Life of the Party from My Mind's Eye.
I googled the sentiment, then printed it out to colour in. Happy Christmas/Feliz Navidad!
I'm entering this card at:

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends :)
To celebrate, Barbara is offering a huge five day sale over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.
You won't want to miss out on a great deal, but please before you go shopping, let me show you my card for today...
The picture isn't too good, sorry about that, the weather is very dull at the moment.

The paper is by Dovecraft (Merry Magic).
There are more inspirational cards on the LMM blog. The Little Misses have made some cracking cards let me tell you ;)
I'm entering this card at:

Give geese a chance
This little fella wants you to give geese a chance to be on your dinner table this Christmas....
This image is the new freebie for Super Saturday from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and is called Sitting Turkey. I coloured him with my promarkers, then added a googly eye after cutting him out.
The sign is a computer generated sentiment which was been layered with some dark brown wood grain paper by Basic Grey from their 'life of the party' paper pad and strengthened with black cardstock..
The patterned paper behind is from Hot Off The Press (called Home Grown), I paper pierced around the edge and dragged a brown pen through the holes for some faux stitching. The cream piece has been punched with my SU eyelet border punch.
*sigh* I wish I hadn't stuck down that bow, it looks out of place :/ maybe a strip of hessian or some natural twine would have looked better.
Please pop over to the LMM blog where you can see some more examples of this freebie and of this weeks spotlight stamp Happy Mail.

It's time for a new Little Miss Muffet challenge, and this time we would like to see your WOW cards (white on white) except of course you can use colours in your image.
This challenge will be perfect for a Christmas card make eh?...
I've used Santa's Reindeer, a Pollycraft image, available from the store, there's a whole load of critters available, go take a look, there's something for all occasions, and lots for Christmas.
I have used 2 of my old faithful embossing folders, swiss dots and snowflakes. The little tree is a sizzlits die (doodle dies christmas set), and I lightly sponged all 3 just to define the different pieces.
I finished the card with a stamped greeting from SU's 'best yet' stamp set
I'd like to enter this card at:
Oldie but a Goodie - CAS Christmas
Penny's Paper Crafty - anything goes
Crafty Creations - thanksgiving or christmas
Crafty Calendar - all things christmas
Crafty Bloggers Network - christmas
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Extra - anything goes
Christmas at Sweet Stampin - white on white
Christmas Cards All Year Round - winter wonderland
You can see more cards that really will make you say "WOW" by visiting the challenge blog and seeing what the other Little Misses have been up to.
Good luck in the challenge xx

Christmas Eatings
Time for another fabulous new release over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps :)
Prepare for cuteness overload!...
This adorable character is Pudding Chester. If you love Chester, then you'll love this release ;)
I echoed the image on the left side of the card base by using a punch to look as though a bite has been taken from the card. Think that next time i'll add more bites around the edge :)
The patterned paper is Nordic Christmas (First Edition).
I die cut the corners, the greeting and the holly leaves glued to the greeting, then finished the card with red crystal gems.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Cards For Men - merry christmas
Crafty Calendar - all things christmas
Sweet Stampin - christmas is coming
Cards Galore - animals
The Crafty Bloggers Network - christmas
I Love Promarkers - red and green
Penny's Paper Crafty - add a sentiment
Crafty Creations - dies and punches
Check out what the other Little Misses have made with this cute new release by visiting the LMM challenge blog, Chester has certainly touched the little misses' hearts ;)
While you're there you can check out the current challenge where we have gone all dotty!

LMM stamps now in the UK!
Yep! that's right, you can now buy a selection of Little Miss Muffet stamps, here, in the UK, exclusively at My Mum's Craft Shop :)
This little beauty is one of the stamps you can buy right now, Fancy Sunbonnet Flowers.
To celebrate, the Little Misses are joining forces with the the MMCS design team for a blog hop, and there are prizes to be had ;) All you have to do is leave comments as you hop, the more comments you leave the better chance you have of winning a prize as the winners will be drawn randomly from the comments left.
You will have visited me via the lovely Jane, if you didn't, then you can start at the beginning of the hop HERE.
For my card, I coloured the image with my promarkers including the surrounding frame, which is a lea'bilities die. I added a bit of bling to the frame with some cerise gemstones.
I punched out the sentiment, which is from SU's best yet stamp set, then cut off the top of the punched circle and placed it over the edge of the frame. I finished off by paper piercing the edge for a faux stitched look.
The background paper is a freebie from a craft mag.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Inky Impressions - dies and punches
Charisma Cardz - anything goes
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Your next blog hop visit is with Julie, who has made a really beautiful card, so please leave her some love while you're there, remember, the more comments you leave the more chance you have of winning ;)
Thanks for stopping by, good luck in the hop, and don't forget to check out those stamps in the MMCS store :)

Sunflower Patch
Happy Saturday everyone! as you know by now, at Little Miss Muffet, Saturdays are SUPER!
Not only can you buy the spotlighted stamp at a super duper discounted price, you can also grab yourself a freebie! :)
This week, Barbara is giving away this fabulous freebie; Sunflower Patch...
I decided I wanted to fussy cut this great image, it took a while to do, but i'm very happy with the outcome :)
The image didn't need much else in my eyes, so I kept it clean and simple by simply embossing the kraft card base (swiss dots folder) and stamping the greeting (from SU's 'Bring on the cake' stamp set). Simples!
I'd like to enter this card at:
My Mums Craft Shop - autumn colours
Crafty Creations - autumn colours
Simon Says Stamp - keep it clean and simple
Wags 'n Whiskers - fall colours
Stampin for the weekend - autumn/fall colours
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Don't forget about the retiring sale going on now in the Little Miss Muffet Store... this is the last weekend to grab your favorite! As of Sunday evening, they'll be gone for good...
Itching to make a card? remember, we have a new challenge up and running at the mo, we're all Seeing Dots! Are you?
UPDATE:
I won the challenge at Crafty Creations! YAY! xx

Seeing Dots
Like many of you, I love the Polka Dot Pals. So when I heard that the new challenge at Little Miss Muffet is 'Seeing Dots' I knew straight away where to look for my image. Only problem is choosing which one because they are all so cute!...
This is Katie. I love her ringlet pig tails, and isn't she cuddling just the cutest puppy ever?
As usual, I coloured the image with my promarkers.
The dotty paper is by My Mind's Eye, from their Lime Twist - Life of the Party paper pad. I just love the colours in this collection.
The sentiment is from Create with TLC, I thought it suited the image perfectly.
I finished off with a small punched heart, awwww puppy love :)
I'm entering this card at:
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Crafting By Designs - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp - keep it clean and simple
Bearly Mine - anything goes
Cards Galore - animals
You can find more loveliness made by the Little Misses, and all of the challenge details HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today, I do hope you'll join us for the challenge.

New Polka Dot Pals!
I've really been looking forward to telling you about this new release from Little Miss Muffet Stamps,
and now I can! YAY!
There's more new Polka Dot Pals released today :)
and they are just as adorable too, and now you can add some ready made faces if you don't feel confident enough to draw them yourself...
Meet Issie, she has been coloured with promarkers, and i've added one of the faces to her.
The sky has been sponged. Then I added some white flock for the snow at the bottom.
The snowflake paper is from Dovecraft's merry magic paper pad with a strip of paper from First Edition's silent night pad at the bottom. I paper pricked around the papers and drew on my 'stitches' with a red marker.
The sentiment is computer generated, next to this i've added some snowballs, which are little pompoms cut off a scrap of ribbon.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Shopping Our Stash - stitching faux or real
I Love Promarkers - anything goes
Crafty Sentiments - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
UPDATE:

Party Monster
Here's a quick make from me.
This cute and fun image is from Pollycraft, bought before Paula closed its doors. Isn't it fab?
I've used Lime Twist - Life of the Party papers from My Mind's Eye. and used similar coloured promarkers to colour up Party Monster.
'mikey' is die cut using By the Letter dies from Die-namics, and the '3' is a chipboard number.
I'd like to enter this card at:
I Love Promarkers - anything goes
Lexi's creations - birthday celebrations
Crafty Sentiments - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
Thanks for looking x

"I need a card for tomorrow"
This is what I was told last night while at work. Why do lads always leave it late to get cards eh? must be a genetic thing, cos girls are always (ok, mostly) well prepared for such events, especially if it's their mothers birthday.
This is what I have made, apparently his mom likes wine and flowers... well who doesn't?! ;)
This beautiful image is from DigiStamp Boutique, meet Alyssa. I've coloured her with promarkers then used a die from a Marianne Creatables set to frame her. Incidently, I received Alyssa as part of a challenge prize from Charisma Cardz, and the die set as part of a challenge prize from Crafty Catz :)
The papers are both from the same paper pad, MME's Lime Twist - Life of the party.
'mom' was cut using mint green glitter card and my Die-namics By The Letter dies, and the number 60 was stamped and coloured in the same colour as the dress, then framed using another of those Marianne dies.
The flowers were stamped using SU's One of a Kind stamp set, then punched out using the matching boho blossoms punch, before finishing each flower with a pale green crystal gem. The leaves are a woodware punch.
Hope his mom likes it, and hope she has a fab 60th birthday too.
I'm entering this card at:
Sketchy Colors - white and green
(hope the splash of pink and red is ok?)
Crafting when we can - make it sparkle
Paper Crafting Journey - anything goes
ABC challenge - X for Xtra special
DigiStamp Boutique - October challenge

Spooktacular!
Today is the day we start our latest challenge over at Little Miss Muffet challenges.
This time, we are asking you to be Spooktacular!
so anything halloweeny will be perfick :)
I've used the Bugaboo image Fancy Sunbonnet Witch, and coloured her with promarkers.
I have used navy glitter card as the main background piece, and layered this and the image onto a pale purple shimmer paper.
The purple multi paper across the card is a scrap left from Provocraft's 'tags, bags, boxes & more' paper pad (bought way back when I used to have a cricut machine a few years ago), I edged this paper top and bottom with the moon and stars design ribbon, which I have also had for years, it shouted out to me from the bottom of my ribbons tub, needing to be used on a card, so here it is.
The frog is a magnolia stamp.
I'd like to enter this card at...
Crafting When We Can - make it sparkle
Crafty Calendar - halloween
Kaboodle Doodles - halloween colours
The Pink Elephant - trick or treat
Lexi's Creations - halloween
Shopping our Stash - halloween
Oldie but a Goodie - spooky
Crafty Creations - halloween characters
Inky Impressions - halloween
Simon Says Stamp - halloween
My Mums Craft Shop - halloween
Looking forward to seeing your spooktacular makes!
If you need some inspiration, check out what the other Little Misses have made.
Just click the logo below and 'whooosh!' you're there ;)

LMM release day!
YAY!, it's time for another new release at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, I know that you all look forward to them as much as us Little Misses do ;)
This time is the turn of some delightful new Pollycraft images, and yes, sadly, Pollycraft is closing its doors next week, but you can still get your Pollycraft fix by shopping at LMM ;)
For my card this week, I've used Swings n' Slides Student...
The red spotty & ledger papers are a double sided sheet from MME's Stella & Rose 'Gertie' pad.
The tape measure paper is by Basic Grey from their 'life of the party' paper pad.
I embossed a piece of gold vellum with my swiss dots folder to place behind the image and the 'abc' die cut letters (die-namics, by the letter).
The layout for this card is from this weeks sketch challenge at the Sweet Stop.
I'd also like to enter this card at
Craft Your Passion - embossing
Bearly Mine - anything goes
Crafting by Designs - anything goes
Penny's Paper Crafty - anything goes
There's more cuteness to be found by visiting the other Little Misses.
Thanks for stopping by, happy shopping/crafting xx

It's a Doodle!
You can be as creative as you like for the new challenge at Little Miss Muffet, we want to see some doodling on your cards or projects please.
I decided to doodle paw prints around the edge of this card blank...
The image I've used (Plush Kitty) was a freebie a few months ago, and although it isn't available on its own in the store today, it is available as part of the image Trick or Kitty, so you can easily cut around Kitty if you wanted to, although I do have it on good authority that Kitty may be available on its own again one day.
And of course Trick or Kitty is just perfect for all your Halloween projects, so would be a great buy anyway.
The paper behind kitty is by First Edition, from their 'silent night' paper pad.
The sentiment is hand written.
You can see more 'doodletastic' work by checking out what the other Little Misses have done HERE ;)
I'd like to enter this card at:
Crafty Cardmakers - cute and furry
Crafty Catz - anything goes
ABC challenge - W for words (add a sentiment)

The party is still going on
Saturday's are now Super Saturday's at Little Miss Muffet and this week we want to remind you of the fab Graffiti Party, where you will find inspiration, discounts and freebies, as well as entering the challenge to be in with a chance to win yourself some graffiti and urban prizes from both LMM and MiC.
You have until October 20th to enter.
Barbara has designed some brilliant extra graffiti images, one of which is today's freebie...
Graffiti Krew Writer...
I also used Graffiti background swipe, Graffiti background drip, and 'brickworks' from Make it Crafty's Urban Streets collection.
I coloured the images with promarkers and cut out the scene to give it a torn look. I coloured Krew Writer again and added some foam pads to the back to lift it slightly from the background, then used more foam pads to raise the scene from the kraft card blank.
The only thing I added myself was writing HB2U on the blue background swipe.
These images are so much fun to colour, if you think it's not your bag, you may surprise yourself, step out of your comfort zone and give them a try, who knows where your imagination will take you once you start creating.
You can find all the LMM graffiti images HERE.
Hope to see you at the party!
I'd like to enter this card at:
Inky Impressions - blue as the main colour
Cute Card Thursday - signs of distress
Crafty Catz - anything goes
