These are the cards that I made this year for my Mom.
I used the outline stamps from Peony Bouquet by Altenew, stamped with old paper distress ink, then coloured them with promarkers.
The spotty paper is by Dovecraft, Back to Basics (Baby Steps)
I used the largest die from Spellbinders 'Elegant Ovals', which has a sentiment is from DigiStamp Boutique printed on to it. MOM was die-cut using By the Letter dies (Die-namics)
Here's the card that Jake gave to his Nan...
I used the floral stamps from 'Gift of Love' by Stampin Up, adding a little more shading with promarkers.
The heart is a Marianne die (CR1225), stamped with a sentiment from a LOTV stamp set (digi version HERE), and NAN added using alphabet dies by Tattered Lace.
The stripy paper is by Dovecraft, Back to Basics (Bright Spark)

Happy birthday to my Dad.
My Dad is celebrating his 75th birthday today :)
Here are the cards that i've made for him...
I paper pieced this design using strips of paper from Lawn Fawn's pint sized patterns (Beachside).
The flames are die-cut leaves from Die-namics Flower & Leaf Trio die set, then sponged at the bottom of the flame for a slightly more realistic look. The numbers are Die-namics By the Number dies.
The background was simple distress ink blending.
I added a little sparkle to the number, card edges, and flames, with a clear glitter brush pen.
The following card was made for Jake to give to his Grandad...
I've used dies from Die-namics for this card too (Tool Charms). Grandad is actually a Grandson die from Crafts Too that I cut twice to piece together.
The Sentiment is from a Papermania stamp set (Father's Day).
The papers used here are both from Craftwork Cards 'Man Made' paper pad.
Thanks for stopping by today xx

Hey Connor!
Our grandson, Connor, giggles when he watches Hey Duggee on the tv, so I paper pieced the character from the show for his birthday card from Uncle Jake...
I used Die-namics By The Letter dies (and a By The Number die) to go around the Tim Holtz (Sizzix) stitched oval.
The paper is by Doodlebug (Hip Hip Hooray).
Simon Says Stamp (weds) - anything goes
Cute Card Thursday - anything goes
Seize the Birthday - anything goes

Baby Boy .... is ONE!
We're celebrating our darling little grandson's birthday today!
Connor is such a happy little chap, always smiling and giggling. He's standing up by himself, and walking around the furniture and with his walker, hence why i'm using this adorable image for his card...
It's a LOTV stamp called Baby Boy. You can't buy the rubber stamp from the website anymore, but they do sell the Digi Stamp version. I coloured this little cutie with my promarkers.
The papers are all by Lawn Fawn, from 2 pads, Let's Polka in the Meadow & Perfectly Plaid (Rainbow).
Grandson is a Crafts Too die, and the number is by Die-namics.

Fab Flowers
I treated myself to this Fab Flowers stamp set by Lawn Fawn, and chose to make this card using some warm colours...
I used Memento Dew Drop inks, hand cut them out and layered them to make this bouquet.
The text paper is MME's Stella Rose 'Mabel' (an old, retired collection).
The sentiment is a Birthday Banners die by Tonic Studios.

Inlaid roses
I bought a rose die recently, I wanted to make a clean card for my friend's birthday using just white card, the die, promarkers, and a greeting. Oh and a few Nuvo drops to finish...
I die cut the rose 3 times from the same base card, overlapping the bottom 2 roses, then coloured the inner pieces with Promarkers. I added double-sided tape to another piece of card and attached it to the inner side of the front of the card, exposing the areas where the die cuts needed to puzzle piece back into place.
It's by no means perfect, but I like it, and that's the whole point of a handmade card anyway. I'll be having another go at this technique soon.

Football Bears
I do love Lili of the Valley's cute images, and these Football Bears are no exception...
I don't think you can buy this stamp from the website anymore, I bought mine from their Ebay outlet shop.
I coloured the bears in West Bromwich Albion's colours for a friend who's a fan of the club (We won't mention the terrible season they're having eh?)
Paper is Stella Rose 'Hattie' by MME.
Die cut football is an old Quickutz one (Soccer Ball).

Adorable Elephants
Hello! I'm a bit late, but .. Happy 2018 to you all xx
I'm back with a card that I've made for my friend's daughter...
I've used images from the aptly named Adorable Elephants stamp set by My Favorite Things. I had to do a bit of masking to add the balloons, and coloured the final image with Promarkers, adding spectrum noir clear glitter to the balloons and butterflies.
The sentiment is Birthday Banners die by Tonic Studios, I also added glitter to the lettering.
The bright, fun, pretty paper is by Doodlebug (Hello Sunshine).
Thanks for looking xx

Happy Birthday RJ :)
We have 3 wonderful grandsons. The middle one, Richard Jnr (RJ), is 3 today.
This is his card...
This image is Mo's Two Toby, and even though RJ is 3, he found being 2 quite an ordeal, the terrible 2's as they call it, was something that we as a family certainly can relate to, as i'm sure many families across the world can relate to also.
This image reminds me so much of him through this past year, so I just had to use it. I know it will make my daughter and son-in-law giggle, although they were not laughing at the time as you can imagine, lol.
I coloured the image with promarkers, then fussy cut around it.
The papers are Perfectly Plaid (Rainbow), and Watercolor Wishes.
Other supplies are: By the Number die (Die-namics), Crafts Too die (Grandson), Craftwork Cards (Label Tape Sentiments), Sizzix sticthed oval thinlit die, and a stitched star die.
I'd like to enter this card at:
Seven Hills Crafts October challenge - sketch
I love Promarkers - use dies
Crafty Creations - anything goes
and here is RJ's card made for Uncle Jake to give to him...
RJ's new love is Paw Patrol, so I had to make a card with Chase on it.
I grabbed the image off Google (it's for personal use only), and coloured it with promarkers.
I embossed the background with a paw print folder by Darice, and the starry paper is by Doodlebug (hip Hip Hooray).
I hand cut the shield, then added Dienamics letters on top.
'Nephew' is from an old stamp set by Clearly Besotted Stamps (For everyone).

Oh My!
My sister, Helen, will be celebrating her birthday on Monday.
Helen is owned by her very bossy cat, Woody.
So I've used part of this digital image by The Paper Shelter, called Oh My! for her card this year...
I coloured the kitty with Promarkers (and added a bit of wink of stella to the pink bows too), before fussy cutting it out, then adding funky foam to the back for dimension.
The HAPPY balloons are from a Mama Elephant stamp set (Celebration Balloons)
The paper is by Lawn Fawn (Perfectly Plaid)

Now, onto the card i've made for Jake to give to her...
I was given a gift of some metal dies. This cat die was in with them.
I teamed it up with a few balloons from that same Mama Elephant stamp set that I used above.
I used metallic sequins and Designer Series Paper from Stampin Up (Tasty Treats).

Stippled Blossoms for 2 special birthdays.
I was asked today to make cards for 2 ladies celebrating special birthdays over the next week.
Time was against me a little, because these needed to be done quickly so that there is time for them to be signed by all the staff where we work.
I decided to get out my SU Stippled Blossoms set again, and do the same card but in 2 different colour ways.
Here's the results...
I stamped the design on inside of each card to match, using the more detailed stamp of the set. I've seen this done before and really liked the resulting 'backing paper', and i'm really happy with how they both turned out.
Only wish that I'd realised that i'd run out of lilac/purple gems BEFORE I stamped and stuck it all down!
I stamped the flowers and leaves using Memento dew drop inks.
The colours used for the pink card were Angel Pink & Rose Bud, and for the purple were Lulu Lavender & Grape Jelly, The leaves for both cards were stamped using Pistachio & Olive Grove.
Hopefully they'll like their cards.
I'm entering the challenges at:
Crafty Creations - anything goes

Sweet Faith
The Birdbrains are crying, and the Pigwits bow their heads with respect.
Our beautiful, kind, and generous friend, Faith Skrdla, owner and illustrator of From The Heart Stamps, has passed away after a courageous battle with brain cancer. This lovely lady touched the hearts of all of us on the design team, past and present, and although we may not have met in person, I will always regard Faith as my friend.
I joined the From The Heart design team, first as a guest designer for April & May in 2014.
I was then asked to be a full time member, and I was delighted to stay on with this group of talented and caring ladies. It truly is like being part of a family. We are all so saddened by Faith's passing, such is the love and respect that you have for online friends.
Thinking of Nate, their children, and the family.

The pint itself and wooden look piece are both raised with foam pads to add dimension and interest.
I stamped the greeting at the bottom, and added his name with Tattered Lace alphabet dies.
Hope he likes it!

Happy Days
Here's a bright, colourful birthday card that I really enjoyed making today...
I used an image from a set of 3 from DigiStamp Boutique called Maddie Happy Days.
I coloured Maddie with promarkers, then fussy cut her out.
I wanted a fun back-drop for her so decided to use the sketch from this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge, adding candles (made from flattened straws) and balloons.
I used 4 different papers from the same pad (Doodlebug's Hello Sunshine).

Clearly Besotted Love Quotes
I was rummaging through my stamp sets the other day, and found one that I haven't used for quite a while... Love Quotes by Clearly Besotted Stamps.
Here's a couple of cards that I've made using it...
I stamped the flowers using Memento inks, then cut them out using the matching dies.
The background was made using a wood grain stamp from Kaisercraft, and a script stamp from Imagination Crafts.
The sentiment is from Stampin Up's 'Bring on the cake' stamp set.
This simple card used papers that are all from the same pad by Lawn Fawn (Let's Polka in the Meadow), and the sentiment stamp is from an old set by All Night Media.
Thanks for looking, have a great weekend xx

I used Lawn Fawn's scalloped box card pop-up die, and embellished it with Die-namics Tool Charms dies.
