SS- DT week!

It's the lovely Jeanette's turn for DT week over at Sketch Saturday this week, and she has provided us all with an awesome sketch! I really enjoyed using this one (thanks Jeanette!)

Here's my card, a birthday card for a friend at work...

I felt like a change from my usual square cards, and I think you'll agree that the sketch is ideal for standard A6 too.
The pretty backing paper is by SU ('sweet always' DSP), and the image is a gorgeous Hanglar, coloured with SU markers. I used SU punches for the pretty scalloped edges and the flowers.
The sentiment is handwritten.

Please stop by the blog to see more work by the fabulous Design Team, including the first DT work by Cazza & Leonie, welcome aboard ladies! xx

This week we are sponsored by Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, and you could win 3 Kraftin Kimmie Stamps if you are our challenge winner! :)
We have a new Guest Designer too, the extremely talented Inge, who will be with us throughout September, great to have you join us Inge! xx

Another christmas card :)

Yep, another crimbo card for the pile :)
The following card follows this weeks sketch (#118) over at Sketch Saturday, and you could win yourself a £15.00 shopping spree courtesy of our sponsor The Craft Barn if you are this weeks challenge winner!

I've used Ice Skating Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy and coloured him to match the free patterned papers that I have received in a craft mag, not the usual crimbo colours but I do like this contemporary combination.

Please stop by the blog to see this weeks sketch and to see some stunning examples by the design team,
Sadly, this week is Lena's last week with us because she is leaving the DT :(
but we wish her well and thank her for all the beautiful work she has made to inspire us all.

No sweet stampin card from me this week, it's Team Fluff's turn to inspire you, and this week they are all distressed about birthdays! ;)

Saturday challenges...

Good Morning, thanks for stopping by :)
It's Saturday, so it's time for me to show you my DT work this week...

Firstly, here's my card for Sweet Stampin challenge blog.
This week we have a sketch for you, and here is my card using a Pure Innocence digi image given to us by Heather Ellis, our sponsor this month.
I used SU markers to colour the image, SU sentiment, SU punches for the flowers and SU cardstock.
The dotty paper was in my stash, I think it's a doodlebug design but can't be sure tbh.

The Team Emma sweet stampers have created some beautiful examples to show you,
you can find links to their blogs over there >>>

Now, here is my card for this weeks sketch at Sketch Saturday.

This weeks sponsor is Digital Delights by Louby Loo, and I have used 2 of the 4 adorable images given to the DT on my card...

The Castle image & Sparky the Knight image,
both have been coloured with SU markers.
Lovely images to work with!
The sentiment was made on the computer.

Please stop by to see the totally beautiful cards made by the rest of the Design team,
you can find their links over there >>>
thank you :)

Enjoy your weekend! xx

my first crimbo card!

All of the patterned papers used are from Stampin Up the collection is one of my favourites and is called 'ski slope'
