It's time for another mid-week post for From The Heart Stamps.
My card for today takes inspiration from this weeks I {heart} sketches challenge...

Join in the challenge, and everyone who plays will receive a $1 discount code for the store, and if you are the challenge winner, you will receive a $5 discount code to the store! :)
Remember though, you must use an image by From The Heart Stamps to be eligible, and please include a pic of the sketch in your blog post too, it's in the rules!

I've made a christmas card today. Well, we did have some snow yesterday!

This cutie is Blowing Kisses, and is one of Faith's Project 100 Snowman images.
You can see the others available HERE.

I've coloured the image with promarkers, then fussy cut part of it.
I teamed this with patterned papers from Lawn Fawn (Peace, Joy, Love), and, using the twist too, die cuts from Poppystamps Dies (Frozen Flakes), and Paper Smooches (Lattice).

I hope that you'll join in our challenge too :)

I'd like to enter this card at:

Time to Bloom

Here's a reminder for the SOTM challenge at From The Heart Stamps.
Remember, EVERYONE who plays, WINS!

As it is a progressive challenge, if you joined in with the Stamp Of The Month challenge in March, you should have received April's Time to Bloom via email.
If you make a card/project using this month's SOTM, you will receive next month's image, emailed to you for free! :)

If you didn't play last month, you can still join in by buying the image from the FTH shop
If you spend over $10 on other images, you will get Time to Bloom for free when using the code TICK-TOCK (but make sure that your purchase doesn’t include this image or you will receive 2).

You have until Saturday, April 30th, at 11:59pm CST to submit your entry.
Here's my card, using the main image from this set...

I coloured this image with promarkers, then fussy cut around it, leaving a slight border.
I used the largest die from Spellbinder's Timeless Rectangles set, cut a frame using white cardstock, then trimmed out the middle so that I could make a square frame.
The papers are from my scraps drawer.
I followed this weeks sketch for the layout.

I'd like to enter this card at:
Penny's Paper Crafty - anything goes
Scrap n Challenge - anything goes

Have a great weekend! xx

I've used the image and one of the 2 sentiments from Birdie and Balloon. I coloured my image with promarkers, then added some clear wink of stella to the balloon for some added shimmer.
I coloured the birdie's tummy to match my chosen papers, which are called 'More or Less' and are by Dovecraft. I really like the colour palette of this paper pack.

Mid-week inspiration

It's time for another mid-week inspiration post for From The Heart Stamps.
My card for today uses the sketch from this weeks I {heart} sketches challenge...

I've made a get well card using Feel Better Birdbrain...

I coloured the image with promarkers, and added some clear wink of stella to the medicine itself.
The patterned paper is by Echo Park (Little Girl). I found some pink glitter card in my scraps tub which fits in perfectly (together with the sequins) for the twist this time, which is to 'make it sparkle'.
The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed, and is from Paper Smooches (First Aid Kit).

Sweet Treat blog hop

Welcome to my stop on this month's From the Heart Stamps blog hop.

Our theme this time is "Sweet Treat"

We are having a little twist this month! Some of our designers are adding some sparkly sequins to their projects. As you move through the hop, count up how many sequins were used among all the cards. Email your answer to Faith:(faith@fromtheheartstamps.com) for a chance to win a $15 voucher to the FTHS store!
Also, as is usual, please leave a comment on each blog. One random commenter will be selected on each blog to win an image of choice from the FTHS store.

If you have arrived here from Imke, you are in the right place. If you haven't, why don’t you start at the From the Heart Stamps blog, so you don’t miss anything. The full hop list is there too.

For my project, i've used the accent image from Chocolate Box Birdbrain to create a gift tag...

I coloured my image with promarkers, I printed the image 3 times so that I could layer them up with foam for dimension. The sentiment is from the same set too.
I've used papers from Curiosity Corner by Dovecraft, and added some sequins - can you see how many?
I finished the tag by setting an eyelet and adding some glittery swirl ribbon from my stash.

I'm entering this tag at:
Penny's Paper Crafty - anything goes
Simon Says Stamp (weds) -anything goes
Crafty Calendar - anything goes

Now, please head over to Kathy's blog to see what sweet treat she has made :)

I hope that you enjoy hopping with us today.
The hop will end on Sunday, April 10th at 6am EST (11am UK time).
Winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on Wednesday, April 13th.
Good luck, and happy hopping! xx

For a purr-fect day

Here's my mid-week inspiration card for From The Heart Stamps.
This week i'm using this fab image, A Little Something...

I coloured this kitty with promarkers, fussy cut it out, then glued the image to a piece of cardstock that i'd sponged with distress inks first (weathered wood & mowed lawn) and embossed with a paw print embossing folder by Darice (Michelle 'made' me buy it ;) lol)
The sentiment is one of five you will receive when you purchase this image.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Baby cards

Heres a few cards made for new arrivals...

This first card was handcut using a dl card blank, to resemble a baby's bottle...

I covered the front with patterned paper (Nitwit, country meadow), then used a crimper to make the neck part of the bottle.
'baby' was cut using a Clearly Besotted Stamps word die, and 'GIRL' cut using Die-namics dies.
I finished the card with some organza ribbon.
I will add the baby's name as a little tag off the ribbon once she is born.
I'd like to enter this card Craft Your Passion's anything goes challenge.

This next card also uses that baby word die...

This time, I teamed the word die with the precious sentiment and image also from Clearly Besotted Stamps, Little Onesie. I stamped the onesie image twice, onto both plain and polka dot paper, so that I could paper piece it.
I'd like to enter this card at Less Is More (polka dots)

And following on from the Little Onesie set, I used the 'precious' sentiment on this card too...

I also stamped the word Granddaughter using a couple of stamps from the For Everyone stamp set, also by Clearly Besotted Stamps, but sadly not available anymore.
The image is from DigiStamp Boutique, called Baby Chicklet, and is coloured with promarkers. I added a couple of sequins and some pearls too. Then framed the image using a Nellie Snellen die.
The striped paper is really old, it's a dsp from a Stampin Up collection called Sweet Always.
I finished the card with a punched heart coated with glossy accents, punched & sponged flowers and punched gold shimmer-vellum leaves.
I'd like to enter this card in DigiStamp Boutique's monthly customer competion for March, also, The Ribbon Girl's any image challenge, and finally, the spring flowers challenge over at In The Pink.

Thanks for looking xx
