I've been playing with my new Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set recently.
The first card I made was in shades of blues to make a get well card for my friend who's healing after an operation. I forgot to take a photo of the card before giving it to her though. Silly me.
Peonies are one of my Mom's favourites, she has a beautiful red peony bush in her garden, infact, it inspired me to buy the stamp set in the first place. So I just had to use it for my Mom's mother's day card, which is March 26th in the UK this year...
I kept the design quite simple, because the flowers do the talking here.
Here's a list of supplies used:
stamp sets - Peony Bouquet, Calligraphy Alpha Uppercase, Calligraphy Alpha, all by Altenew.
colouring medium - Memento dew drop inks.
patterned paper - Glitz Design (Color Me Happy).
scalloped heart - Marianne die (CR1225).
white card base; red card stock; vellum; WOW white embossing powder; clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.
I'm entering this card at:
Simon Says Stamp (Weds) - Fantastic Florals
Sweet Stampin - Flowers
Addicted to CAS - wood

Thanks for looking xx
Beautiful arrangement of the peonies. Was one of my Mum's favourites too though her bush was a deep pink one. I have two paler pink ones in my front garden which produce masses of huge flowers. Hugs Mrs A.
